Top GMO Food List

This is a limited list of GMO foods from both domestic and international sources. It is non-exhaustive, there are definitely more. These are all items to only consume organic if that is an option. It is worth noting that many of these ingredients could show up in small amounts in a packaged food item, so be sure to read your labels.

In studies conducted, digestive issues, fatigue, mood balance, overweight, food allergies and brain fog were all improved by eliminating GMO foods from the diet. These are just a few of the named health conditions. It is easy to be overwhelmed and also desensitized to this issue, but it is a relevant conversation and these foods without a doubt, are impacting our quality of health and quality of life.

  • Soy lecithin
  • Corn
  • Corn syrup
  • Canola
  • Sugar
  • Aspartame
  • Sugar Beets
  • Zucchini
  • Yellow Squash
  • Hawaiian Papaya
  • Banana
  • Salmon
  • Apples
  • Potato
  • Alfalfa
  • Peas
  • Cassava
  • Tomatoes
  • Infant Formula
  • Yeast – this can include wine making yeast. Bear in mind not all vineyards are using it, but it may be worth exploring if you are having reactions.
  • All non-organic animal based foods including dairy and eggs – A high percentage of the GMO grain that is produced in America is all fed to conventional feedlot animals
