Delicious Cauliflower Crust

Cauliflower Pizza Crust

A delicious gluten free, grain free and dairy free crust for pizza or flatbread.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups uncooked cauliflower rice If you can't find, use a food processor and pulse raw cauliflower until it is the consistency of rice
  • 2 large eggs pastured and organic preferred
  • 3 Tb coconut flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder aluminum free
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 Tb nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • Lots your favorite toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425. Place an 8 in cast iron skillet or pizza stone in the oven. If using a baking sheet, line with parchment paper.

  2. Steam cauliflower rice until tender, but not mushy.

  3. Allow to strain and cool slightly.

  4. Using a nut milk bag, or clean kitchen towel, squeeze out all remaining moisture.

  5. Add cauliflower, eggs, baking powder, oregano, garlic, nutritional yeast, salt and coconut flour to a large bowl. Hand mix and combine well.

  6. On parchment, press and form into your crust (about 8-9 in diameter). If using skillet or stone, carefully transfer onto heated surface.

  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes without toppings. Check to make sure it is not soft or mushy in the center. Add desired toppings and bake an additional 5-10 minutes.

  8. Allow to cool just a couple minutes, slice and enjoy!!
