ACV Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove
  • ¼ c. raw apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tb. fresh lemon juice
  • 6-8 drops stevia
  • 1 T. nutritional yeast
  • 1/3 c hemp oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in high speed blender & mix until smooth

Apple Cider Vinegar – The potassium & enzymes in ACV can help keep fatigue at bay which may help clients resist eating sugar for energy. ACV has also been found to support blood sugar stability and weight loss. Stomach acid can also be improved with ACV, enhancing breakdown & absorption of nutrients. It is a wonderful tool for working with insulin resistance.

Nutritional yeast –Nutritional yeast has a great profile of amino acids and is also high in B vitamins and magnesium. It is also high in fiber making it a great food for supporting blood sugar regulation.

Hemp Oil – Hemp oil is the only edible seed that contains GLA and is also filled with omega 6 & omega 3. These fats can help with supporting nervous system health. Stress plays such a strong role in upsetting the nervous system and subsequently spiking blood sugar. Using beneficial fats to support the nervous system will support stabilizing blood sugar.
